Hey, I’m Ashley! Wife, mom, and entrepreneur. I specialize in web and brand design for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives. I first started my journey in 2019 when I graduated from General Assembly & Per Scholas’ Web development certification program. From then on I focused on software development and website creation through custom-built websites. I decided I didn’t just like grabbing someone else’s design and building out the site, I enjoyed creating the design MYSELF. So I furthered my education with self-taught material and courses and became the designer I am today.
Something I see so often is small businesses struggling with their design, and grabbing a premade logo from Canva ( **THE HORROR!!!**). While I know not everyone has the budget initially for professional services, this is the most detrimental thing you can do for your business. For example, who remembers the illegible script on top of the watercolor stain? Or the floral wreath with the handmade fonts in the middle? Yeah, they were so overused that it’s burned in my memory. HOWEVER— there’s not a single business that used these premade logos that I can singularly remember. And THAT’S the issue. This is where I come in, with not only creating custom branding that tells a story, but makes you memorable to your audience.
